View Full Version : Opening date pushed back again for Teppan Edo?

Just called to see if they had any openings for 9/28 & the CM told me that they have this restaurant blocked out & are not taking reservations until further notice because the construction is taking a lot longer than expected. I called back & spoke to two other CM's to confirm & they all told me the same thing.

I just read somewhere- maybe here, I don't recall- that they are keeping existing reservations from 9/15 to 9/30 at this point, but not accepting any new ones. And that could change, too. It sounded as if the current ADRs weren't very secure. I would have a back-up plan.

just called to check on my ADR for Sept 21st. right now they anticipate reopening Sept 15 so i left mine as is for now.

This morning, I got a call from WDW reservations about my Teppan Edo ADR. I had already rescheduled for Rose & Crown, so I was surprised to get the call. Not that I don't love getting a call from WDW... anyway...

I thought "wow, we've known for over a week and they are just calling on it now?" And the CM was very nice but she was very surprised that I already knew about it and had called to change the ADR. Just another reason to love INTERCOT and being in the know. She confessed that they are having trouble finding dining alternatives for people by now.

just to let anyone know that reads this thread, there is another one on the Dining Thread about this. The opening has been pushed back again - now they don't even have a date, but they are thinking mid November. :mad: They even had to set up a special phone line for people that need to reschedule adr's for elsehwere.

I am totally bummed. We had this place booked twice for our upcoming trip and now we can't even eat there once. :(
