I've made my decision Re: Sept trip...

I'M GOING SOLO!!! :joy::yay::clappy::woohoo:

I booked it just this afternoon. After being a bit down, as many of you may have been aware, I finally decided I can easily afford a 5 day trip to The World!

I'm booked at Pop Century from the 17th to 21st of September. No dining plan but I'll be spending a lot of time at Pecos Bills!

Can't wait to go now! Less than 40 days.

I have gone on several solo trips and have a great time. I like going with my family as well but it is harder now to schedule family trips with our busy schedules and I still like to get my regular Disney fix. I love being able to do whatever I want when I want. I also love not having the pressure of having to fit everything in that everyone else wants to do. I usually met lots of nice people and CM to talk to and spend alot of time relaxing. Enjoy yourself and make sure you spend some time checking out PC there are alot of cool things to see there.

Congratulations!!! There are way too many folks in life that want to be a victim and complain that they cant afford Disney. Im glad you're NOT one of them. Be proud! You have taken control of YOUR life! I hope you have a GREAT time.:mickey: Let us know all the details when you get back!

I've done a few solo trips. In fact, it takes some adjustment on my part, when I make a trip with family members !
Don't be afraid to go to a sit-down restaurant. I just brought along reading, or some post cards to write while I was waiting for my food order. Also, there are some places with counter service, where you can avoid longer lines, like at ESPN Club. I had a great chicken caesar salad at the "bar" counter area, by just walking in, and bypassing the line of families waiting to be seated at tables.
The Pop food court option will also be nice for a solo, plus the option of taking food back to your room, and eating in your jammies !

I'm jealous. Have a magical trip !
