Aug. 4, 1989 – Disney illustrator Paul Murray passed away. During his career, Murray drew thousands of pages of comics and was one of the very few artists who could essentially draw all of the Disney characters.
Aug. 4, 1991 – Screenwriter/artist and Disney Legend Don DaGradi passed away in Friday Harbor, Washington. A self
confessed “misplaced cartoonist,” Dagradi wrote for animated shorts, served as art director for “Dumbo,” and production designer for “Sleeping Beauty.”
Aug. 4, 1992 – Identical twins Dylan and Cole Sprouse were born in Arezzo, Tuscany, Italy. They will star in Disney Channel’s original series “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.”
