Red Bull on Airplane??

Has anyone taken canned drinks in their checked in bags? I was wondering if they are safe or would they explode?

If you purchase it on the gate-side of security, you can bring canned drinks. And pressure wouldn't be an issue, since you will be in a pressurized cabin along with you.

Of course you can't buy them and taken them through security--but I don't think you were asking that.

It would be cheaper to buy them at your destination, since buying all the cans at the airport on the far side of security would be expensive!
