I keep reading on other's posts that they have:
"33 visits since '91" or
"21 visits as an adult"
How do you calculate "visits"?
We travel from Canada once a year and have park passes for 7-10 days. I count each year's trip as a single visit, not 7 or 10. How do other people count their visits?

My trip to the world is one visit for the entire time I am there.

So I've visited 6 times with two more times this year. Each time we have been for more than a week, once for three weeks.

8 more days

I'm counting the number of individual trips - whether they were 1 day or 12.

I think pretty much everyone that lists visits means total trips not days within a trip.

Ditto. One trip = 1 visit.

One trip regardless of length of stay = One visit

Because so many people have such a high number of visits, it might have caused you to question the calculation method; however, there are just some very, very lucky people who get to go several times a year.

My entire trip is calculated as 1 visit regardless of how many days the trip is. :mickey:

Yup, each trip is a visit. Our upcoming trip will be September 13th-22nd. That is one visit. We usually go once a year.

Our 11th trip since 1996 is this September.

People that live closer are often able to make more trips than those of us that require a day by air to get there. I know that if I lived within a few hours of Orlando that I would make a lot more trips than I am able to do now. Now if I'm lucky it's one trip per year.

Each time I go to the world, I count it as a trip. I don't count the indivdual days. I'm lucky in that I now live 2 1/2 hours away so I can sneak away for lots of weekend trips (like this weekend). I'm also lucky in that my grandparents moved to Deltona in 1987, and thus began my "Disney era", where we went to WDW 3, sometimes 4, times a year with the grandparents. I'm sure when I move away from Florida my trips will be less frequent :(

This is how I do it also. I would lose track if I counted the number of times I visit each park during each of my stays, because I am a dedicated parkhopper!!!

Whether my trip was 1 day or 9, they all equal one trip. So when I say I've been there 6 times, it's my whole life and each time is one trip.

i count each stay as a visit...to count the days i go in the parks each time would b too much...then i could count each park as a visit, since i park hop sometimes 3 or 4 parks in a day...then....

I go by how many times I've ever been to at WDW/DLR, etc.

Each time I go to Florida it's for 2 weeks (the norm for coming from the UK)

So each 2 weeks = 1 trip/time

I have been 16 times!!!

I have been going at least once a year since WDW opened. My grandparents lived about 10 miles from WDW. We would go visit my grandparents at least once a year. So of course that meant a lot of visits to WDW. I remember going out to where they were building the MK and looking at the model of what the park would look like. In the last last few years DH and I have been lucky enough to go to WDW a couple of times a year.:mickey:
