effect of extra magic hours during slow period

We will be arriving to Dis on Sun, Nov. 25 of 07 and our first day at the parks will be on Mon. I usually take the first day of our vacation to the Magic Kingdom for our 4 year old son. This time, Disney has scheduled an extra magic hour on this day.

With it being the week after Thanksgiving and the parks drastically slowing down, will we notice a large increase in attendance that will take away from our day? Or will we be better off because of when we are going?

We go in September (one of the slowest times of the year), and last year we decided to try morning EMH at Magic Kingdom - big mistake - it was super crowded that day, more so than any other day of our trip. I wouldn't recommend going to an EMH park unless you have hoppers and plan to leave when it gets crowded.
