Is there counter service in Germany? I need a Brat & Beer soooooo bad.

Yes, I believe it is called Sommerfest and they have brats and beer, and maybe pretzels?

Yes, the CS restaurant is called Sommerfest. According to a recent menu, they offer:

Bratwurst served with sauerkraut and roll $6.39

Frankfurter served with sauerkraut and roll $6.09

Soft Pretzel - $3.39

Apple Strudel with vanilla sauce - $3.59

Black Forest Cake - $3.59

German Beer - Lowenbrau Original, Beck's Dark, and Franziskaner Weisse, $7.00

Sweet White Wine $6.00
Medium Dry White or Red $6.75

Shots/Schnapps
Applehorn $6.00
Jagermeister or Goldschlager $7.00

Yeah, the countersevice at Germany has that. It's real tasty, DH and I shared a Frankfurter there in January. Great sauercraut. Easy to share (if that's your inclination!) :thumbsup:

Sommerfest is a fine place for a Brat & Beer. If it's summertime, sit under the overhang in the shade.

The counter service is not obviously seen. It's located next to the Sit Down Restaurant (Biergarten) - actually just to the right of it; it's behind a wall when walking in the courtyard. Just ask a CM, they'll know.

We stop here quite often - enjoy! :cheers:

All these years and I never knew they had counter service. We looked everywhere for a hot dog for my nephew last time we were there because America didn't have any. Thanks for the info.
