DDE Question...

I'm running numbers to see if I should enroll in the Disney Dining Experience for my upcoming trip...

Is the DDE discount on the TOTAL bill or does it eliminate items such as dessert or alcohol?

DDE discounts your entire bill (including desserts and alcohol) by 20%.

It's been my experience that the card pays for itself in three days, and we are not big eaters (no appetizers, rarely dessert, couple glasses of wine).

We have found that the DDE is a great value - we schedule at least one TS each day to take maximum advantage of the discounts. We have nothing but praise for the DDE card and have saved approximately $500 the past two trips with it! :thumbsup:

They definitely discount all food and beverages. If you plan to eat at V&A's just once, the card pays for itself immediately.
It's about the only discount you could possibly get inside the R&C pub in EPCOT when ordering pints! :cheers:
