Counter Service Free Dining

We have never gone during the "Free Dining" and did not plan on it this time either. We had our trip booked then they anounced this.

We usually go on this Disney Dining Plan. Thankfully we have all our table service reservations. My question is how bad are the lines for the counter service?

Last year they werent bad at all. They moved right along and we always got a seat.
