Yep. They announced that back in the spring. The rumors (and only a rumor) is that the WDW HM is getting the same treatment that DL did with the new bride scene in the attic, new Leota scene and all new animatronics throughout.

I'm sad to miss it when I go in August, but it's good news for the attraction and it will be incredible when it's done.

I was disappointed when I was there two weeks ago that it was closed but the fact that it's getting some TLC is GREAT news :hmghost:

yep it is very true! my parents and brother were just there a week ago, and no HM.

Both of my DS's are sad that it will be closed when we are there. It's one of their favorites and they have not been to Disney in several years. DW and I are also sad that we will miss it, but we did see it last year and know next year when we return it will be that much better. :party:

I hate that it has to close for so long, but a refurbishment is LONG overdue. No kidding - the last three times I rode it: Nov. 05, Feb. 06, and June 06, it broke down every time I was on it. And I'm not just talking about for a minute or two. One time we were stuck for about 10 minutes! I love the HM (it's one of my fav. rides) but 10 minutes of the fortune teller will drive you crazy! :)

It's true. :mad: I was there in June and it was closed, and I'm going in September. I check out on September 12! AAAAHHHH! I'm praying that it opens just one day early. I will be spending my last day at the Magic Kingdom. Please oh Please! I need some of Tink's pixie dust. :tink:
