I guess this is a little belated, but I'm still curious...
We were in MK on July 3rd. The fireworks were really cool! Right after the fireworks, we got in a short line for Buzz Lightyear. And then we exited...
It was a little after 9:30. There were fireworks going off nearby. They were close enough that everyone in Tomorrowland was watching them, but they were far enough away that we were obviously not intended audience. The fireworks seemed to be to the east of the Contemporary, over Bay Lake.
The fireworks were impressive... as impressive as the main fireworks cluster durring the 4th of July fireworks in MK.
I know they shoot off "mirror" fireworks over 7 Seas Lagoon durring the 4th fireworks, we saw those... those are not the fireworks I'm asking about.
Does anyone know what those were? Were they for the guests at Fort Wilderness & Wilderness Lodge?
