What ride gives you, what I call, "the good chills"??? :tink:

For me, it's Mickey's Philarmagic....especially the Peter Pan part! :peter:

SE because it is always the first ride we do when we get to Epcot. As soon as we start going up I get chills and it has nothing to do with the AC. Just the sound of the narrators voice gives me chills. It is one of our family favorites and we always do it when we enter and right before we leave. We are so sad that it is going to be closed for our Oct. 27th trip.

Haunted Mansion, Tower of Terror, and Space Mountain, to name a few.

Most of them! Especially IASW (since its the first ride it means we're really there!), Splash, BTMRR, HM, ToT, POTC, CoP, etc...:mickey:

I know what you mean Mousse. I would say Philharmagic also. Wishes is not a ride, but it definitely has that effect. :minnie:

I would have to say, for me, it's Fantasmic. I know it's not a ride, but it's the attraction that never ceases to amaze me.

It is not a ride but, Festival Of The Lion King in AK does it for me. I even get teary eyed watching it. Not sure why it affects me so much, but it is one of my favorite attractions in The World.

Absolutely. Saw it 3 times this past May. It gave me chills and brought tears of joy to my eyes each time. I even get chills listening to the music from it to this day. Amazing!

Wishes! There is something so magical about the fireworks over the castle! I remember as a young child watching Disney shows on TV and seeing the fireworks over the castle and Tinkerbell. To me, that was the beginning of a life long Disney love. :mickey:

Sorin comes immediately to mind. I find that ride awe inspiring and beautiful. I get a real sense of transversing California and really being there if only for 5 virtural minutes. The scents contribute to the overall effect. :mickey:

Even though it is not a ride, I would have to say Festival of the Lion King. I absolutely LOVE this show and it definately gives me the good kind of chills. It is an amazing performance.

For me it is The Voices of Liberty singing "A Dream is a Wish".....I just can't take it, I cry and get goosiebumps!! Also, Wishes! because my DH and I got married a few minutes before wishes and then celebrated our wedding with a Wishes reception.

Also any parade will do it - esp. Spectromagic

I have lots...

1) When I hear the voice of Paul Frees in the Haunted Mansion. I didn't get to hear him on this last trip... :(

2) The beginning of the Tiki Room and hearing the voices of Wally Boag, Fulton Burley, and Thurl Ravenscroft.

3) The Peter Pan part of Mickey's Philharmagic.

4) Any of the ORIGINAL dialogue in Pirates. The less said about the changes the better.

5) Hearing the movie music as I approach MGM.

6) Por Favor Mantengase alejado de la puertas. I know I've arrived :D

Almost every single one including busses, boats or monorail. Seems to happen when the signs start showing up on the interstate.

Soarin hands down. I am a native californian who hasnt been back in over ten years now. I have a great deal of nostalgia for it and that ride brings me to the verge of tears every time I ride it. I've been to virtually every location we fly over in the attraction and it's spine tingling for me each time:mickey:

Most rides can do that, but I would say that Dinosaur, Kilamanjaro Safaris, and Splash Mountain get me the most excited chills of anticipation.

Like others ... it's not a ride .... Illuminations, at the very beginning when the torches "blow out" ! I get chills every time. I tear up near the end ... I don't know why, and my DH thinks I'm nuts and usually :haha: :mickey:. (stinker!) LOL!

I have a few. The first is driving down Route 4 and getting off the interstate and seeing the purple Disney signs. Also, POTC and Spaceship Earth because those are the 1st rides I always ride in MK and EPCOT.

In Philharmagic when Ariel comes out in her 3D arms-out pose. On Soarin. PoTC always, especially as the ride starts and you feel the cold air and hear "Dead Men Tell No Tales..." E:E as the train climbs and climbs upward when the ride begins. On ToT when the elevator opens to the first floor and you watch the holograms of the family fade to black and then the window breaks; you just know something scary is coming! Hearing the music to Illuminations as you walk around World Showcase- it always brings such emotion out in me.

The first time walking down Main Street and looking at the castle for the first time is the view that gives me the biggest chill , but the ride that does it for me is Splash Mountain. It is our family’s favorite and my DD’s excitement is contagious. :woohoo: :mickey:

I could not agreee more. Paul Frees is/was an awesome voice for the HM.
The only addition for me is the Peter Pan ride. something about that ride makes me feel like a kid again.

For me it is Philharmagic and watching Tinkerbell fly before the fireworks. They both always bring tears to my eyes just like being at Disneyworld does.

The Monorail is one. The other one is Pooh. The reason for that is that my boys love this and as a tradition this always is the last ride in the park before we leave from WDW. The one that means the most and is always gives me the goosebumps in a good way is Illuminations, it is the music and the fireworks. For us we get that feeling that we are here and that gives me a good feeling when my family are watching it.
