Today was also the day that passholders were invited to TOT for something special, but the invitation never revealed what it was. It was limited to a small number and the reservations reportedly filled up within a few hours of the e-mail invitations being sent out. I wanted to go, but couldn't. I was just wondering if anybody knew yet what the passholders were able to do? I'm guessing that they were not tethered to the rail as this reporter was!:jaw:

Those are amazing. Just scared me even more though. I dunno what it is, but I'm really terrified about riding it this year. It gets worse as the years go on. The first time I rode it, by the time I had gotten to it, I had been on two weeks of rides, like the Hulk Coaster, Kraken in SW, The Rock N Rollercoaster, and everything else. So it seemed tame by then. But last year, we only had a week in Disney, so it was really scary to ride that first.

I've always thought some CM's jobs seemed more interesting than others. Think how much fun we Disneyphiles have showing off our favorite attractions to a newbie. So I bet the TOT CM escort had more fun than the reporter.

Once I had a CM ride beside me on RRC "to check operation of the speakers"... not too bad a job if you ask me. :D Yes I know if you do anything enough times, especially if you have to do it, it will get old- just ask the pro golfers. Still, though...

LOL, that's funny, I was the same way! The first 3 times I had no problem going on it, but the 4th time I just panicked and we had to skip it much to DH's disgust. We'll see how it goes this year ... I'm gonna do my best not to chicken out!
