A friend told me that starting in 2008 you will need a passport even to travel within the United States. Does anyone know anything about this? We're flying to Disney in Jan 2008, and if it's true, I need to get the process started. Thanks in advance.

no....you only need a passport to travel to Canada or Mexico.

passports will be needed if you leave the USA, not if you are traveling within it.
