okay so here i am, a jersey girl spending 3 weeks at CUA in DC to study architecture for three weeks in the summer.
our first lesson in our studio class was to bring in something, ANYTHING that you just love the design of. it didnt have to be a building, we just needed a reason why we enjoyed the design of it.
me being, well, me, chose the EPCOT ball. i was so proud when i got up and described how i love the engineering behind it since they needed to test it to make sure underneath wouldnt become a giant wind tunnel, and how its got an amazing gutter system. i also appreciated the symbolic meaning behind it.
just thought i'd tell everyone on intercot that!thanks for reading!
