I had posted this on Friday before the server crash, but it seems to have disappeared, so we'll do it again. If you voted Friday, you'll have to do so again, if you wish.

This is kind of an obscure question that I'm sure you may have difficulty answering...but give it a shot...

Two eateries (maybe more?) at Disney World have a breakfast item called "Tonga Toast". One is Kona at the Polynesian and the other is the Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom. Which do you prefer?

I haven't had the Tonga Toast at Kona, so I went with Rainforest Cafe in AK.

I went the other way, for the same reason. In August I might try it at Rainforest Cafe. :thumbsup:

I went with Kona, because I didn't even know that Rainforest served breakfast.

I voted for rfc because the one at Konas was bad. It just tasted funny.

I went with the Tonga Toast from Kona Cafe. After a little research I found that the Tonga toast descriptions read:

Kona - "banana stuffed sourdough bread, rolled in cinnamon-sugar, with your choice of ham, bacon, or sausage"

Rainforest Cafe - "baked cinnamon french toast with warm maple syrup surrounded by fresh strawberries and bananas, topped nwith walnuts (also avaliable without nuts).

The Kona Tonga Toast sounds much better, to me, than its Rainforest Cafe counterpart.

Voted for Kona one simple resason. If I am at Kona, that means I am staying at the Poly! :tikki:

I'm not a big fan of Tonga Toast, but my dbf is - he hasn't had it a Rain Forest Cafe, but likes it at Kona, so it got my vote.
Truth be told, he prefers the Boatwright's version.

Since I am not a huge fan of rainforest cafe I am gonna have to say Kona Cafe!
