Wonderful friends have given us tickets to Seaworld, I am now making plan changes to go (bye-bye DTD, but we're not shoppers by nature anyway)

Anyway, is a taxi the best bet? Bus? Carrier pigeon?

Any advice gratefully received. We plan to go for the day and come back to EMH on Friday night at Epcot.

Click here (http://www.intercot.com/infocentral/transportation/transoffsite.asp) for the section in Info Central that details all of your options.

There is a public bus that leaves from the Ticket and Transportation Center that might work for you and is quite inexpensive - Lynx.

It you opt for a taxi, I understand it is less expensive to start out at Downtown Disney as the fare is a bit less expensive from that location.

You could also rent a car for the day. Both Alamo and National are located on Disney property.

If you take a taxi I suggest grabbing a bus to DD then take the taxi from there. You'll save a bit of money on the fare.

As Linda mentioned, Lynx (http://www.golynx.com) runs a shuttle from TTC that'll drop you at the corner of the Sea World parking lot. It's very cost effective but can be time consuming. Allow at least an hour in each direction.

Mears (http://www.mearstransportation.com) runs a shuttle that will pick you up at your hotel and drop you at the park. I believe the cost is now $19 per person for round trip transportation.

You could also rent a car for the day. Alamo is on site.

Carrier pigeons are no longer being used. Their legs are not large enough to strap humans to. :eek2:
