Everything is so overpriced in VMK! A quest kiosk is 30,000 CREDITS! I used to think 2,000 credits were expensive. I guess the VMK staff are just trying to make it as similar as possible to the real Magic Kingdom, where everything is overpriced also. :mickey:

Well, the norm that people usually have is around 20 to 30 thousand credits if you actually play the games every once in awhile. Besides a couple of days when I play fireworks or mansion a couple times, I don't play much at all compared to some people. I still have around 60,000 credits though. Now, I don't buy everything, but anymore I just buy stuff that I want and like.

I just started up again, so I have about 3,000 credits. I'm on way to the quest kiosk though.

Is this true? I can't believe most people have this many credits....the most I've ever stayed with is 10 thousand, and that's when I was playing a lot!

It used to be on sale for 10,000, but stupidly I decided not to get it. Now that it's up again I want it! How ironic..

I'm not too sure about that David I've played since day 1 and right now is the first time I've been over 10,000 credits.

Really? I honestly thought that I was poor with my account of credits. I used to see people with 100,000 credits all the time.

Wow talk about over-achievers.. The first and last time I got over 10,000 was at Halloween when I saved over two months :P

Does VMK have homeless shelters? Because if that's true, I belong in one. I think it should start offering social security as well. Help the little guys.

Because I play Jungle Cruise at least once a day and everytime you make it into the top ten you get 750 credits...

And every time I buy something (like the weekly pins), I play extra games just to make up for it...

So right now I have about 580,000 credits. Several players I know rarely buy anything. They only buy what they want to wear in terms of pins and clothes and don't really build rooms. So they are at 1,000,000 or so credits. And I know a few more who are at about the 500,000 range as well...they're the ones you usually see in the top ten lists or spending their VMK life on the POTC docks.

So it's really about playing the minigames and not really buying a lot of stuff. Especially nowadays with everything being an average of 500 or 1000 credits.

More than a few people have gotten to that mark actually...

I have to say though, that the prices of things are quite high in comparison to the average amount of credits earned in a typical game. And the maximum amount of daily credits you can get from clicking on those automated people is only around 160 or so. Then, most things are costing 500 to 1000 credits. 1000 credits....you'd have to click on Esmerelda 50 times!

I try to earn a bit more in credits than I spend, that way when magic (at 10,000 per pop) is released or there is a ride event, there are credits to use. The most I have ever gotten to was 80+ thousand credits...then came the ride event...gasp...gasp...it was expensive!!!

I am finally back to 40,000 credits

If I could still play fireworks, I'd probably be close to that now. The most I've ever had was about 280,000. Right now I've been sitting on 120,000 for the last few months (most of which was from that 280,000; I didn't spend all of it).

Yep, that be the boat I am in. Fireworks used to be my cash cow. Now I stink at it.

It's strange that you can accumulate millions of credits, but only have 150 people on your friend list!:)

I just figured out that if you go between Haunted Mansion, Fireworks, and Street Party Music Game over and over again, you can get quite a bit of credits. I've gotten 1,000 credits in 1/2 an hour!!!

I have had to change (due to a move to no-wheres ville) from a cable to satilette, and it *****. I used to do very well at HM. Now, I really do not want to play the game. However, I have found that fireworks, is not a problem (but, I still lack extremely in that game and I think it's my skill not the connection). Pirates forget, and Jungle Cruise is the same as long as I play early before Dragon gets there and then I get my 750 credits. So, from what I'm expierencing is the lag is really not the problem it's your connection. Some people will just reign over us because of there connection and the connection speed. So, there you have my blog from expierence not real knowledge, let's see what the REAL MINDS SAY!!...:tink:

Last night I played a version of Capture the Flag with other Intercot members. I had not known about the double credits on Tuesdays, but it works out well. I ended up getting 600-800 credits for each pair of win/lose games. On the games our side 'lost' I averaged 200-300 credits (double credits night). With the games we won, I averaged 400-500 credits.

It is great for those that have laggy connections, since you do not need to out manuever the opponent. The way it works is you get a group together (preferably friends that you know or Intercot people*) and start the game. Both teams get the flag, but you alternate who gets back to base. This way three rounds are played. Credits are maximized by the non-flag carrying players sinking each other or being sunk by a flag carrier.

A great fringe benefit is that even if you are normally a poor player, you can get a treasure key every six games (3 wins and 3 losses), so be sure to play level 3.

If you want to maximize points the non-flag carriers should have heavy ships with more armor. Only hit with 2-3 cannon balls then they pick up health. Hit again, etc. Just before the flag gets home, sink them to collect extra points. Just be sure not to sink the flag carriers!

*It is probably best not to have unknown players join the game, as they may get upset about the players not being so competitive in the game.

Not sure, but if Yavn is telling the truth, then Thursday we should have double credits on Mansion. :)
