It was estimated that 100,000 people would attend Opening Day at the Magic Kingdom, but fearing traffic jams and overcrowding (due to media hype), only 10,000 people showed up.

Very Interesting! I wonder if there were as many problems with opening day at MK as there were for Disneyland.
