Stitch ride has problem

Last time I was at Disney in April, I noticed that in one of the theaters, one of the cannons was blinking the lazer light in the center of the cannon every four seconds.It was very distracting and hope they can fix it. I also saw it in Feburary too.

That's actually the least of the problems with the ride... Lack of story would probably top my list.

I hate to say it but, I really dislike that ride!

My nephew, who took his first trip this past October, thought it was broken. My sister and her DH tried very hard to explain to him that it wasn't, its just the ride. He actually had to go again to realize it wasn't broken:( Poor kid!

IMHO, I think Stitch could use a different ride!

We liked SGE. I was really surprised I liked it to since I hated AE. But the smell! :ack: The only issues we seen with it were the people blocking the harness to keep them from going all the way down. So the castmembers had to go threw the theater with flashlights to lower them properly. But that was more user error then ride error.

I've actually seen just the opposite. On a couple of occasions the center light didn't work at all, but the cannons moved perfectly. On our last trip (December) everything was working. As with any ride/attraction, these things will happen.

And, as previously posted, I am also tired of the people just waiting for a Stitch thread to start bashing. It's really getting old guys. :shake:

There sure are a lot of Stitch threads recently! I have already stated my opinion, I don't hate the attraction, I just think they could have done a much better job.

i really dont like it either. i was really excited back when they annouced it then i came in 2004 and it was nothing like i imagined it would be. it really looked like to me they didnt want to make it a good ride bc they left all the old stuff from the alien ride so it reminded me of that more than a stitch ride

Personally I thought they had a really strong attraction with Alien Encounter and saw no need to change it. Every time I passed by it there was a line. It fit with the theme of the land, had a cool story and really packed a punch.
