No Hoop-De-Doo on DDP as of Jan 1, 2008

Just made ADRs for our Dec/Jan trip and the CM informed us that as of Jan 1, 2008 the Hoop-De-Doo Review will no longer be available on the DDP. I guess we will skip it this trip and pay for it the next time we are there.

Does it mean the same for the DDE? We were going to book the Hoop Dee Doo for April. Even if the DDE is not accpeted, I think we will still go. Sounds like fun!!! Disney fun!!!! LOL

I was planning to pay for Hoop Dee Doo out of pocket anyway, so that we could sit in tier 1. I do wonder if the other dinner shows will follow suit.

1) Hadn't heard that.
2) But, it does make sense.
3) DDP only reimburses a set amount per coupon.
4) The department still must make a profit.
5) You get more profit from cash sales.
6) Besides, too many DDP were taking seats from others.

NOTE: This isn't all that bad. Using 2-TS DDP coupons for HDDR and Luau isn't that good a deal anyhow.

I just called to book Hoop Dee Doo this morning for January. I was told that the dining plan could still be used for Tier 2 & 3 seating. I don't know where the discrepancy is.

I am so glad that I booked it for December this year.....
