After visiting Disneyland in January and crossing it off of my "Parks I want to visit but haven't been to" list, one of the next parks I'm interested in is Busch Gardens Tampa. This is starting to be a similar story to Disneyland, as I have always visited (and loved) WDW, but hadn't been to "that other park" in CA, well I live in VA and LOVE Busch Gardens here, and, once again, would like to see "that other park" Is there a shuttle/public transportation that runs from the airport in Tampa to Busch, or a hotel that is near Busch and offers a shuttle from the airport AND to Busch? I'm not interested in renting a car.

While I'm at it, is Universal difficult to get to from Orlando Int'l via bus or shuttle? Since it's a solo trip, I'm not interested in Disney World.

I found this on Tampa Airports site. It lists destinations, approximate fare, and the name of a company offering transportation.

Tampa Airport Ground Transportation (http://www.tampaairport.com/ground_transportation/index.asp#) - Click on the Other Destinations by City and/or Place link.

From Orlando Airport to Universal you have several options:

Mears Shuttle (http://www.mearstransportation.com) (for one person, the most economical)

Taxi (the quicketst, but not the cheapest)

Limo (http://www.intercot.com/news/advertising/*********.asp)

I hope this helps :)

Thanks, the transportation is not as simple as I had hoped, since you have to hire a service. The next time my family takes a trip to Orlando, I'll have to make the trek to Tampa.

I was hoping for something like the Hiawatha Light Rail that goes from the MSP airport to the Mall of America, very simple for out of town visitors!
