hey ya'll it's me, i was just wondering how would ya'll rate certain rides. Now for rates you do: :mickey:,:mickey::mickey:, and so on and so forth to five. now i will do a different ride every so often but to start us off, we will go to adventureland to a classic: POTC. my rating would be :mickey::mickey::mickey::mickey: and a half.

POTC? :mickey::mickey::mickey::mickey::mickey: This is as classic Disney as it gets! I would give it six stars if I could!

i would definitely give pirates:mickey::mickey::mickey::mickey::mickey: my only problem with it after the refurb is that there is always such long lines. i used to love not having to wait to ride!

I know it's not a thrill ride and doesn't go upside down or anything but it's historic.

Absolutely my favorite attraction at WDW. It doesn't get any better than POTC for me. I love it!

:mickey::mickey::mickey: would be my rating for The Jungle Cruise. I know it's a classic...but it needs a refurbishment badly.

The new additions made it better, but DL's PotC is still superior to WDW's.

Jungle Cruise: :mickey: :mickey: :mickey:

I agree that it does need a rehab, but at least we know that one is planned for the near future.

Old Pirates::mickey::mickey::mickey::mickey::mickey:, the short lines were a big plus.

New Pirates same, I do like it better, but the long lines are a pain!

Jungle Cruise:mickey::mickey::mickey: (actually 4 but the system limited me to 8 symbols!), I hadn't been on it in years then last summer we rode it and thought it was great.

BTW another big plus for me on Pirates is that that was the last ride Walt actually had a hand in creating.

It's a classic, but it's not something that I'd go out of my way to visit on a regular basis.

:mickey::mickey::mickey::mickey::mickey: for POTC

I agree with the other posts, it is so special because of it's history and also because it shows how a classic as it is can be brought up to date (Captain Jack Sparrow) without compromising it's integrity.

1/2:mickey: Treehouse
It's just boring!

WDW Rated & Reviewed: Pirates of the Caribbean (http://www.intercot.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=98578) :thumbsup:

I love the idea of rating with Mickey's instead of stars.

Great Idea!! I'm a little behind, so here's my votes from the start:
POTC-- :mickey::mickey::mickey::mickey::mickey: (one of my absolute favorites!!)
Jungle Cruise-- :mickey::mickey::mickey: (I like it but its not a must-do every trip)
Tree House-- 1/2 (boring!!)

This is a great idea. I am also behind, so here goes:

POTC: :mickey::mickey::mickey::mickey:1/2

Such a classic. I can't imagine it not being there - and that was before the movies. To me, the movies have enhanced its value.

JC: :mickey::mickey::mickey:1/2

An oldie and goodie. The CM guide I think is very important for this one. Our CM was so funny last time, we laughed the whole way through. I like they way that the CMs kind of poke fun at the ride. Charming.

Tree House: 3 :mickey:

My DS(9) really likes this one, and talks about it a lot. I think before his enthusiasm, I would have rated this one lower. However, I think his appreciation has rubbed off on me. I like that it harkens back to a classical story, it adds variety (not a ride, show, or high-tech), and it is aesthetically pleasing in the park. I don't want to see it go.

I have seen pre Johnnie Depp and post. I like both, but I have a question, what used to be in the room at the end where Capt' Jack is sitting in the chair singing and drinking? I cannot recall.....

Anyway, :mickey::mickey::mickey::mickey::mickey:, for me!! It's my DD16's favorite!

There was a treasure room behind where Jack Sparrow is now sitting. Inside that treasure room was two guys tied to chairs. Outside the treasure room was a few rowdy pirates that were firing pistols.

Magic Carpets of Aladdin: :mickey: :mickey: :mickey: 1/2

I wouldn't do it every time I go, but it's a fun little ride that everyone can go on which, IMO, does not deserve the flack that it frequently gets on the Internet.

Magic Carpets :mickey::mickey::mickey: I don't go on it but kids love it:thumbsup:

I have to say Tree House--minus:mickey:
I fell in the Tree House and broke my camera, they don't have enough lighting at night to keep it open. It's dangerous:(
