When Entering the Magic Kingdom: Do you head to Adventureland or Tommorowland First?

I saw the topic regarding the World Showcase, so I want to know what the general population does. Do you go through one of those, or to you head to another land??:mickey:

We usually head over to Tomorrowland to try to get on Buzz Lightyear...and if we can't we'll get ourselves some fastpasses and hop on the Transit Authority for a few laps around the world!!:thumbsup:

For me and my wife, it's always a first and last stop in Tomorrowland. We live for Buzz Lightyear and Space Mountain. Everything else in the MK we may hit once or twice in a visit, but Tomorrowland is like home to us.

We would like to go to Adventureland first, but generally in the off peak season (which is when we go to WDW) Adventureland is not open yet. Sometimes Adventureland doesn't open until 10 AM. In that case, we either go to Fantasyland or Tomorrowland. This year, I'm sure we'll go to Fantasyland first as it will be my 2 year old DD's first trip.

Well we usually go atleast two separate days, so one day we go through Adventureland, and one day through Tomorrowland. But, I am certainly more inclined to want to go through Adventureland.

On our first day at the Magic Kingdom we start in Fantasyland. If we visit the park another morning we turn left and ride Pirates of the Caribbean.

We usually go to the MK a few times during a trip. The first time we will go to the left and through Adventureland straight to Frontierland and get fast passes to Splash Mountain and then we ride Big Thunder Mountain. The next day we will go to the right to Tomorrowland. There we get fastpasses to Space Mountain and then ride Buzz Light-year

Our family tradition is always Tomorrowland/ Space Mtn first thing at MK in the morning. We wait for the rope drop right by the noodle station and then try to be the first people on SM. They used to let you run, now they keep it to a fast walk(probably a good idea when it's crowded), but still a lot of fun. After many trips to WDW, we generally take our time cruising the parks, but still love rushing to the first ride of the day(space mtn,tot,EE/Safari,Soarin/TT).

We head to Adventureland and hit POTC first. The last time we were there, my husband and I were waiting until they lowered the rope to Adventureland. The cast member emphasized "no running!" but the second that rope was down, everyone was running in. It was hilarious (and thankfully no one was hurt)!

We hit Fantasyland first to avoid all of the long lines later in the day. If it's the 2nd MK day of our trip we head to Tomorrowland first.

We always walk straight up Main Street through the castle to Fantasyland. If the castle is roped off, then we hang a slight right and enter Fantasyland through the walkway that passes Storytime with Belle.

Speaking of the castle being blocked off, I was there in February on the day of the Dream Wedding. Because the ropes were up, many of the guests thought that Fantasyland was not open. My daughter and I took that path to the right and rode just about everything with no lines. This was early one morning on a non-EMH day. Just a little tip from me to you.:joy:

If it's a EMH Morning we head for Fantasyland, any other day Frontierland and Splash and BTMRR then back to Adventureland/

We usually hop on the train & ride it around to the back & get off so we can walk to Buzz Lightyear - then of course a trip using the WDW Transit Authority is a must. Sometimes then we hop right back on the train & go to frontierland, just whatever the mood strikes us to do......:mickey:

It all depends on what I am doing that day. A normal day I start in Adventureland, if arriving half way thru the day it's Tomorrowland and for EMH I head straight to Fantasyland (generally because that's where all the rides are for EMH).

When I go by myself I go right up Mainstreet and to the Castle. If I can't go through the Castle to Fantasyland I go around....Right to the Carousel. Then off to the left for Peter Pan, Philharmagic, IASW, etc. Sometimes I will go ahead and do the Pooh ride before heading off to the left.

I like to be a non-conformist and head to the right to Tomorrowland. I've experienced that most people travel clockwise when presented with a circular path, so I do the opposite! Hasn't failed me yet!

I had to think about this one. At Disneyland we always go to Adventureland, but I think at Magic Kingdom we always head to Tomorrowland. But I think this next visit will be our first time heading straight to Fantasyland.

Adventureland first, becuase that's where Jack Sparrow is - then it's only a short hop to Splash Mountain for the first of 4 or 5 rides in a row!

Tomorrowland. More specifically, "The Race to Space Mountain", as I like to call it. Not that Space Mountain is my favorite attraction at Disney World, but to me it's just a perfect way to start my MK day.
Last year, my girlfriend and I sped on over to Space Mountain and rode it 3 times in a row with no wait. That was a waker-upper.

This depends on what we're riding first that morning. We head to Fantasyland first for Dumbo mornings and Tomorrowland first for Buzz mornings so we can ride as many times as possible until the crowds come. :mickey:
