Danger of being Deleted Thread

Thought this would be a nice idea to add since people are always in danger of being deleted by the 6 month mark. Going to search for some names that I haven't seen in awhile, and everyone can chip in and tell me some names so I can update the list:

Why do they start deleting people after only 6 months?

So that they can clear up room in their database. They have over 3 or 4 million accounts made and they need to make room somehow.

Has anybody talked to Key's friends on VMK? I have a few of her "real life" buddies on my friend list I could ask them if she's coming back when I go on tonight.

Until they actually get on VMK and the system says that they were on, I won't actually take them off the list. I don't feel like adding and deleting so much.

Yeah, the list was alot greater than what I thought that it would be. Hopefully this warns a couple people that their accounts haven't been logged in on in awhile.

he is getting them from our friends list in the game. It tells you when the last time a person was on.

When you click on a persons VMK name on your friend list, it says the last time they have been on. Hope this helps :)

A great list Fan. Thank you very much for doing this. Hopefully this helps with the loss of friends. Some of these people on here; I feel like I was just talking to them yesterday on VMK! I think this thread could use a sticky maybe?

BTW, Sebou, I think MissMabelle still has a room in the river ride. If she's going to disappear, we might want to by pass her and just keep your room (if you haven't done so already?). :)

Unfortunately with the loss of Ariella, we're going to have to bypass her in the everest ride. Going to need to find Tricks and give him a new teleporter for his ending. :cry::crying:

Last night one of my DD's tried to log in and her account had been deleted! Her name was Cinderariela. It has not been that long since she was on though. I am surprised that she was deleted. She had alot of things in her inventory, and she had been saving her points for a very long time. She is so sad. :(

The delete date is 6 months. If it has been less than that try the I forgot my password link. Some others have thought they were deleted and only had been using a wrong password.

We just tried to log in and it was successful! Now for the bad news....she has nothing but 300 credits and a diving pin? No furniture, clothes, nothing. The girl is not even the same. Do you have any idea what could have happened? Thank you for your help.

I know a lot of you don't know me, because really about the only time I am able to log on is when VMK first opens. But, at the moment, my piece o' junk computer won't allow the flash player to work. We have an upgrade ordered, but it has been a month or two since I have been able to get on. Hopefully, I'll get back there before they come to get me!!!!

You can report this to VMK, but they can't replace stolen items. They usually take forever to email back and it's usually about Thanks for emailing or something. So the most you can do is probably make a new character :mickey:

yeah -- I got to get my hubby to stop bringing home these poor little stray computers that he feels sorry for and wants to tinker with. LOL

Just when we get one up to snuff and running to speed, he needs a new project --- ARRRGGGG. He just doesn't get the importance of VMK. I did tell him that if I couldn't go to the VIRTUAL magic Kingdom, he was gonna have to send me to the real one......

Yup we saw OrngeCrush last night for a while. Hadn't seen her in a while. She was the queen of the hidden mickey's in the game. She has a whole room with the pictures of all of them. She realized last night, she had to take 2 more pictures since the hidden mickeys moved.

I'll have to double check to see if she has a door leading to that room from our teleporters. I would have to say that we probably do since we sent a lot of people to that room. :blush:

Why are we tracking people that haven't been on for a month?

On the soon to be deleted, we probably won't see MsPrincessAllie back. She created a new character and I think she moved all her stuff to that account. We also won't be seeing MsBehave again either, she had said she won't be back on VMK. :(

I think it is a good idea but maybe you don't have to update as often. People that haven't been on in a month are not really in danger. Maybe three months out is a good idea since they are half way. That would give time for people to find them.

Yeah I'm the one that read that PikNik had quit VMK last summer and had given all her things to her sister so not sure if she will be back. Still promised to come visit us from time to time.
