June 23, 1990 – Disney received Emmy Awards for the following programs and individuals: Walt Disney Television Animation (The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, (Best Animated Program, Daytime), Greg Spottiswood (Outstanding Performer in a Children’s Special, (Looking for Miracles)), Charles King, Rick Hinson, Richard Harrison (Film Sound Editing (Ducktales)).
June 23, 1995 – The “Fantasyland Theater” reopened at Disneyland replacing Videoplolis.
June 23, 1995 – Disney’s 33rd full length animated feature “Pocahontas,” was released in the U.S.
June 23, 1995 – The “Meeko’s fast-food facility opened in Fantasyland at Dsineyland. (Replaced Yumz) (Closed Sept. 5, 1997)
