Does anyone have the closing dates of THE HAUNTED MANSION?....

It's closed now until Sept 13th.

I don't think they released any info about what they are doing to it. I can't wait to see though. :)

No official word has been released, but the unofficial word from some reliable sources is that they're redoing the WDW mansion similar to the DL mansion with a new attic bride scene, new seance scene, and redoing many of the special effects. For instance, the pop-up ghosts are being done away with and being replaced by a much less "carnival" looking effect. Those are all rumors, but the fact that some addition is coming is confirmed by the note on the construction wall. Signed by "Master Gracy, your Ghost Host" it talks about making way for "new spirits."

The Haunted Mansion is my favorite ride, and Sept. 13 is my birthday...Coincidence? probably.....
Unfortunately, I live 1200 miles away from DW and won't be there for the reopening. (I will take donations, though) :mickey:

We will be back November 9 so HM will be open
by then. It is one of our favorites. It will be
interesting to see the changes. I hope we like
them. :confused:
