Connecting rooms at POR

Is it hard to get connecting rooms? We had our agent Jean at MJ put in a request for us, but I wonder the likelihood? We are staying at POR in September and have requested Alligator Bayou with connecting rooms. Does anyone what percentage of rooms are connecting?

Sept. is a relatively slow mos. I thjink you should be able to get them.

We are also going in Sept and staying at POR. I don't think we will have a problem getting connecting rooms as long as we're flexible which we are. We are renting a car so I'm not too concerned with relationship to bus stop etc. Can't wait to get there :mickey:

We requested and received connecting rooms in the Alligator Bayou section during a March trip and peak season.

During the off season, we've stayed in the exact same POR Alagator bayou connecting rooms in building 27 on the second floor for the last two January stays in 2006 and 2007. We were thrilled, our only request prior to check in was for building 27 (easy access to Old Man Island and a quick nightime walk to/from the Jacuzzis) - they considerately gave us the connectioning room - since both parties checked into the hotel simultaneously together - I think. We are hoping for similar results in January of 2008!

We stayed at POR last year during peak season (we checked in on the Sunday night before Presidents' day) and we had no problem getting connecting rooms.

I have requested connecting rooms Aug. 20-25 and hope to get them. We just saved $300 this morning when the AP rates came out. Doug

Wow, I'm glad to hear the positive response. I'd love to have building 27 as well, but I know a specific building request is hit or miss.
