Today we visit Animal Kingdom and the Theatre in the Wild: Which do you (or would you) prefer: Tarzan Rocks! or Finding Nemo -- The Musical?

Well, we haven't seen Nemo yet. I guess it would be hard to vote. We enjoyed Tarzan Rocks though.

I went with Finding Nemo for two reasons:

1.) I've seen Tarzan Rocks and don't recall loving it.

2.) DD#2 LOVES Nemo and I'm fairly sure she's going to go crazy when we see it this year. (On our last trip she was only 10 months so this is the first trip she'll have an idea about what is going on. She's 2 now.)

I haven't seen Finding Nemo yet, BUT, I am a huge fan of Robert Lopez, who wrote the music for it (and Avenue Q...which is NOT a kids show, granted, but is still very well written). I have also seen the clips that a floating around the Internet, and I absolutely cannot wait to see it.

To me, Tarzan Rocks was kind of a gimmicky show...it didn't "feel" permanent. Does that make sense? But Finding Nemo really looks like they've put a ton of thought into it...not just work, but thought (theatre people will understand the difference...think Riverdance vs. Wicked)

I haven't seen either, but voted for Nemo. I saw something about it (on the Travel Channel, I think) and it looked pretty cool.

We preferred Nemo over Tarzan rocks. It was more theatrical in my opinion. HOWEVER, I think that throughout the parks, there may be a tendancy to have Nemo overkill. Hopefully, new attractions being considered will include characters other than Nemo and Friends.

This was tough. I loved Tarzan Rocks and I've never seen Nemo. But I voted for Nemo anyway, just because of the sheer anticipation I have for the new show. I hope I'm not disappointed.

I gotta say, I haven't been to Nemo yet, but I hated Tarzan.......

However, perhaps it would be a good place for a dunk tank so we could take out our aggression on Hester and Chester....... hey, it would fit in with the current theme!

Finding Nemo - The Musical is one of the best live shows in Walt Disney World. I really love it.

I went with Nemo because it is truely a "show" but we did really love Tarzan Rocks and miss it! We wish they could have done both!

I haven't seen Finding Nemo the Musical yet, so I had to vote for Tarzan. I thought that was a great show and I'm really going to miss it in November.

Tarzan Rocks was a good show. I cannot stand anything "Finding Nemo" so I don't plan on seeing that show.

Saw Finding Nemo-The Musical in May and loved it... Great show... So, Nemo gets my vote....

We saw Tarzan, it was nice, but not really huge fans of it. We are looking forward to seeing Nemo, so we went with that.

At least I didn't have a headache after seeing the Nemo Stage Show. EVERYTIME I went to the Tarzan Rocks show I left with a headache.

I saw Nemo for the first time last week and loved it! It is such a colorful show.

i dont like the "shows" in wdw at all. if i want to see a show, i'll go to broadway. they're great for the kids, and i totally understand why they're there. but i dont go out of my way to see them anymore.
so i vote for neither... i think the only "show" at disney that is really up to par anyway, in my opinion, is bueaty and the beast at MGM.

Loved Tarzan all the times I saw it. I havent yet seen Nemo, so I have to reserve judgement on it.

I'm just posting to say I can't choose!! I really liked Tarzan Rocks - it was a nice break, entertaining, with catchy tunes.

We saw Nemo in December... it was VERY well done, much "quieter" than Tarzan... and after seeing the Lion King Broadway show, I appreciate the Nemo show even more.

But I just can't choose one over the other!

My family loved both shows I really think the way to go was to ADD Nemo NOT replace Tarzan. As someone else said about "overkill" my son thinks there is too much Nemo everywhere an now nothing of Tarzan.

Have not seen Nemo yet either....2 weeks....but I think I will like it better than Tarzan so I voted Nemo

haven't seen nemo yet but I hope to in September! Maybe since it won't be so hot i can actually stay at AK for more than a ride on EE.
