DDE question

When I looked into DDE here on info central it says it takes 2-4 weeks to process. Does this mean it is not possible to buy DDE on property and use it immediately?

Well, you can, but it's not as easy...

In February, my neighbors were down with us. They bought AP's; as they walked into EPCOT, they called for the DDE card.

Long story short, the temporary card was available a few hours later - they had to pick it up at the front of EPCOT (this is the only place in all of WDW where you can pick up the temporary cards).

So whereas it may be easier to call from home a couple of days beforehand, you CAN do it when you're down there.

Whether you call from home or while you're at Disney, you'll still have to go to Epcot to pick up your temporary card.
