How quickly does Victoria & Alberts get booked up? (Not the chef's table.) Is it one of the popular places you have to book way in advance?

I always book at the 180 days. They are a smaller restaurant and only seat people twice each night.
I would book early. The chefs table is another story...that one is crazy. The last time I tried to book it, it was taken 1 minute before I called. That is one of those do it right when that ADR window opens, right at the phone line opening for the day.

good luck, we always enjoy it there.

The restaurant doesn't seat very many people and because of the quality of the food and service, lots of people want the dine there. I would definitely book as early as possible. Weekends book up more than five months out, weekdays within four, on average.

My wife and went twice. Both times were in September and we got in booking both times in July. Of course during busier times of the year it probably might be longer. We had a fine experience both times. Quite expensive however with the wine pairings.
