At EPCOT, when entering the 'countries', do you go toward Mexico or Canada first?

This is based purely on where we end up in Future World. I would say it's pretty equal between the two.

I normally go to Epcot two days. One day I'll start in Canada, the next in Mexico. It all depends on where we are eating that night as well.

We always head towards Canada because Mexico is one of our faves and we like to end up there. However this last trip we went towards Canada and ended up missing Norway and Mexico, two of my favorite rides/pavillions, so I think next time we're going to head towards Mexico first.

I usually enter via the international gateway...

If it is before 11am we go towards Canada, if we go in the evening we usually take the bridge and walk through the countries that way.

Canada, especially during the Food and WIne Festival. The main stalls that sell the F&W stuff (not the food but the festiball stuff) usually are set up on that start of that side.

Okay, okay... we actually start in Canada and head around towards Mexico.

But that's not set in stone. If we crave any Mexican food or Nowegian delicacies, we head in that direction as well.

For me, it is almost always to Mexico first. I am really not sure why. I think it is because I am a "clockwise" type of guy. However, I also think it is that I really enjoy the Mexico, China and Norway pavillions. My favorite is always going to be the America pavillion though.:thumbsup:

we usually go in thru the back and go thru the brittish and canadian side of the world since that is the shortest way to the front of the park. when starting back world showcase exit we go the other way. we enjoy shopping in italy and france on the way out.

When not staying at the Epcot resorts, I've noticed that I turn right and start at Canada.

Hmm...now I'm trying to remember...we seem to be split 50/50...the first time was definately Mexico, we aren't too worried about missing Canada (too much like home ;)), but last time we were playing the Kim Possible game, so we had to start in Canada, and it seemed to set the stage for the rest of the trip...we always went into World Showcase that way.

Next time...hmmm..probably will depend on where our ADR's are, and where we want to end up! :mickey:

since we usually end up in the world showcase close to lunch time we start in Canada so we can head to England for Fish and Chips. then we work our way around. I'm ashamed to say that we really don't spend much time on the other side as we usually stop at the American Adventure for awhile and then head back down the way we came. Considering now we are DVC at the Epcot resorts - I worry we won't make it to Mexico at all :(

What we usually do is do Epcot in two days...generally Future World in the AM and World Showcase in the PM. What we'll do one day is go all the way to the back (American Adventure) and then work backwards towards Mexico, then do the same thing the second day and work backwards towards Canada.

We sometimes have lunch there, so that could be it. But come to think of it, we usually go left in MK, left in AK, and sometimes left in MGM too (except when we make a mad dash for RnRC and ToT)!

Unless we are having dinner at Morrocco or Italy, then we take the friendship boats. When we have dinner in Canada, we still start at Mexico so we can get in all the countries and end up in Canada.
