How firm do you think the Sept 13th HM re-opening date is?

Do you think that the HM will actually open on September 13th? How firm are the dates Disney gives on the refurbs?:hmghost:

I'd be very surprized to see them not open HM on time because of MNSSHP begining on the 14th. I think they would allow themselves ample time to prepare for such an event, with the tickets being sold separately from the day tickets and all.

We'll be there for MNSSHP on the 14th so I hope they open on time!!!

I hope its firm, since the 13th is our last day...I have to be able to ride HM before we go home! Especially since spaceship earth will be down during our trip too.

I would have to believe that when they schedule such things they add a lot of "cush" time -- that is, room for things to go wrong. I've seen then open early after a refurb, but so far I haven't seen them open late (but my experience is somewhat limited). Chances are, they did the refurb over the busy summer months BECAUSE they wanted to be sure to be open for October festivities. But things happen, just like in real life.....

There's no way of knowing. Given past performance, it's more common to run late than exactly on time. They do get it open by the set date, but it seems more 60-40 the other way. My advice is don't count on it being open, but be pleasantly surprised if it is. I'm sure they are doing everything possible to get it done by the 14th, but they also have to get it right.

i did go thru it a few wks ago. it was dirty; cobwebs etc
