My wife rides her scooter, and cannot walk well.
Which rides will she be able to do without leaving her scooter?
I know the shows will accomodate her,but not sure which rides she can stay on the scooter ,

I only know of two my Mom stayed in her scooter - fortunately, she can walk short distances.

Small World
Kilmajaro Safari

All of the theaters accommodate the scooters and wheelchairs.

Good luck and have a great trip!

Figment has a wheelchair car - I assume it can take scooters as well.

I don't stay in my scooter for everything, but, as you can see, Disney is very sensitive to folks who can't walk at all.:mickey:

it's a small world and Gran Fiesta Tour were not listed on there... I witnessed the loading of EVC guests onto special boats at both these attractions.

I also could have sworn they have a special area on Ellen's Energy Adventure for folks in wheelchairs and ECVs...

Thanks for all of the replies. On our recent trip,we were at the mercy of our travelling companions. They did not want to do much other than thrill rides.Thats why I want to go back again this year, with NOBODY BUT THE WIFE AND ME,No one else can keep up with us when we get going.
We missed doing so much because of THEM.Never again.
This way we can do what we want, her in her scooter, and me keeping up with her.

No, and actually Pirates is one of the rides that most would think is wheelchair accessible that isn't. The turnstiles one has to pass thru to get on the ride don't accomadate chairs, so a transfer would be needed. Im guessing a scooter would need to be parked outside the attraction.

When you get to the parks pick up the Guide to the whichever park you are at for quests with disabilities. This was a life saver for our son who is in a wheelchair. This lets you know which ride you will need to transfer to and which ones you can scoot right onto.

They are located at the podiums at each park where you get the regular maps, and I am sure you can get them at the hotels too.

Have fun
