I would love for my younger kids to have had the chance to ride 20,000 Leagues Uder the Sea. My almost 16 year old has a few memories of it.

The original Tiki Tiki Room. The new show... I can't put it into words... no good... I don't see why they had to change it.

I too have childhood memories of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. I'm sure my DH would love to have ridden that because he's a fan of the movie.

I agree with you. I would love it if it was still there instead of Speedway. Brings back memories of going w/my parents when I was younger. Off the subject tho, may I ask where in WV you are? I live in Louisiana, but was born in Parkersburg, WV. Just curious, that's all. I get to visit "home" next month - YAY !!

I graduated from Parkersburg South High in 1980.
My wife, Laura, graduated from PHS in 1986. I still live a couple miles from DuPont

20,000 Leagues and Mr. Toad. I found a few websites that have someone's home videos of these (and other) attractions, but they're not very good and hard to see and enjoy.

Definitely 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea. I was little when I went on with my mom, but boy was it fun. I wish my boyfriend could see it. He loves scuba diving and would definitely enjoy that ride. Oh well. :)

If you had wings (?)..Mr. Toads's

These were my selections too.

And I couldn't stand the original TIki Birds! I think the current one is a much better show.

I went on 20,000 leagues once. I thought it was too hokey and not enough room for the people they wanted to cram in.

Plus - those with special needs would not be able to experience it.

Good call on the Main Street shops, especially the magic shop and the penny arcade.

Dreamflight, 20000 Leagues, and the old script for the WEDWay People Mover.

The America 360 movie was good too, as well as the Timekeeper.

Mr. Toads and 20,000 Leagues. I loved them both when I was a kid and the fact that both are now gone and covered in Pooh is just a shame. I doubt it will change though.

Without a doubt 20,000 Leagues! Not only did I love the ride, but it was great to look at from the outside too. The entire lagoon with the subs navigating through it looked great. I feel that the MK lost a little of its charm when it was closed down.

I've got to go with the majority and say Mr. Toad (when I was little I thought I was actually driving the car!). Also, Dreamflight from a long time ago was a favorite of ours. It wasn't real popular and they would just let us stay on for a few times around when we would go and immediately circle back to ride again! :mickey:

Oh my gosh! I so agree with this. I only got to ride it one time but I loved it. Too bad they took it out.

Well, I might say Tiki Room and Mr Toad, but I won't because I rode them at DL in March

I'd have to say 20,000 leagues, I have the most vivid childhood memories of that!! And I loooove the movie.

Not really a big deal but I like the old food court at the Land instead of the new one they have now. Last time we were there and did not know it changed and did not like the food choices.

As for rides I miss the Horizons ride and the World of Motion ride it was kinda like the SE ride. Can't remember though what park they were in, I don't think they were in MK I think they were in Epcot.

the original tiki room! My Dad always walked around singing "In the tiki tiki tiki tiki tiki room..." whenever I spoke about going to Disney. DH never saw the original version (even though he'd been to the World many times more than I had!)

Another repeat - Tiki Room original Tropical Serenade. The first time I saw the new one, I was so upset the only thing I could do to cool myself down was have a Dole whip!

Though not MK, I pretty much miss all of the originals in Future World at EC.

For MK, I'd have to agree with 20,000 Leagues. Mr. Toad and the original Tiki can still be found at Disneyland (and I can't wait to ride their submarine ride, if I sould ever get out there again!).

I WAS going to say the Tiki Room, but I just rode it in DL a few weeks ago and actually, I find that I prefer the new one now! Who would've thunk it?

I miss the original Figment/Imagination. I LOVED LOVED LOVED that ride - it was my favorite as a child.

And my mom misses Horizons. Everytime we go, she asks about it and I tell her, "nope, not here anymore!" and she pouts.

I vaugley remember 20,000 leauges, however I do not remember Mr. Toads wild ride, what was that and where was it???? I've told my kids about 20,000 leagues and they just cant beleive me......I suppose I make it sound better than it actually was, but as a kid, I thought is was the coolest... with the exception of Space Mt.......
