Best Thrill Ride

hey, im planning on going the WDW in September of next year so i have a while to plan but i was wondering, im a bigg thrill ride fan, whats the best thrill ride in WDW?

I haven't been on all of them, but I think Tower of Terror is probably one of the best thrill rides at WDW. If you don't know, it's based on the Twilight Zone. Riders go on a haunted elevator and drop and high speeds. They really imporved it recently because they made the drops random, so you never know how long or how many drops you're gonna get. I'm going to say either the Tower of Terror or Rockin Roller coaster. Both are located in MGM almost right across from each other.

I have to agree! Tower of Terror! We ride it at least 5 times every time we go to WDW! :number1: The rest of my top 5...

2. DINOSAUR! at AK, it freaks me out every time!

3. Space Mountain, it's a classic!

4. RNR Coaster, Aerosmith + Roller Coaster = Awesome!

5. Star Tours, I'm a Star Wars geek, what can I say?

It's not a thrill ride, but my favorite overall attraction is actually PhilHarMagic, and it should not be missed! :thumbsup:

I agree with ToT and RnR. I also love the 'backward' thrill of Expedition Everest. Have fun.

Expedition Everest is awesome! Rock-n-Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror and Space Mountain are super! Also, Dinosaur, Mission Space, Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad are good. I'm sure you'll have a great time! Enjoy!:mickey:

My favorites, Star Wars, BTMRR, and Rock'nRollar, I can't ride anymore because of Arthritis, but they're still my favs.

I LOVE Tower of Terror, and Splash Mtn. - no side to side motion.:D

ToT, RnR, Everest, and MissionSpace have been mentioned. But the greatest thrill is going to Club Cool at Epcot and trying the Beverly Soda. It's the ultimate rush.:thumbsup:

personally i don't count ToT as a rollercoaster because all it does is take you up an elevator and drop you, not a rollercoaster.

I guess my interpretation of a "thrill ride" is different from others. The only true thrill rides I could say are there are:
1. TOT- Easily
2. RNRC
3. EE
Maybe Loosely interpreted, MS, TT, BTMRR

For me the "thrill rides" would be Splash Mountain & Big Thunder. I did ToT and didn't like the way my stomach felt. Been there, done that, don't need to go again.
I haven't done RNR or EE yet, but I'll have to think about doing them in Aug before I'm too old and too chicken.
And as CrazyPoohBear posted, my 12 y.o. nephews favorite thrill ride is TTA. Of course I think it's his father's too!
