I know that IASM would seem to be the worst, but for me it's COP. Just thinking about it and I can't get "it's a great big beautiful tomorrow" to stop now. :mickey:

Which one is the worst for sticking in your head?

Whenever I go watch Philharmagic, I spend the rest of the day singing "I Just Can't Wait to Be King."

I went with IASW, since it was a favorite when I was a child and I sang it constantly and learned to play it on my little keyboard. It drove my parents crazy. That said, I took DD3 to see Beauty and the Beast on stage a few weeks ago and haven't been able to get Belle or Be Our Guest out of my head yet.

I wish I could pick two choices! I chose It's a Small World because it's one of my most favorite rides. But, if I could've chosen two or three...POTC and COP would've been my top three. Ohhh, they are all great rides and bring back such great memories. I LOVE DISNEY!!!

The song from the Spectromagic parade gets me every time. When I hear it, I can just close my eyes and feel like I am actually there watching the parade. It's magical.....but of course it is, it's Disney!!!!! :mickey::cloud9:

IASW (not that I mind.) There is an interesting paragraph on the wikipedia that explains that the structure of the song is why it sticks in your head.

Here is an odd one that sticks w/ me the entire trip - the song from the Tea Cups area.
It is so crazy it sticks w/ me the entire day!

I can't help but sing that song after going on SM. I even have it as my ringback tone. I'll answer my cell and people are still singing it when I say "hello" See? I have everyone singing it now. :mjump:

This is crazy because for whatever reason, I have been singing it all day. It's the theme from Brother Bear, and the kicker... I don't even know the real name of the song, but I love it.

IASM... over and over and over and over.....

I will go with Small World, but POC, Carousel of Progress and the song from the Electrical Parade (Baroque Hoedown?) are all in the running! I love them all, but they do stick with you!:mickey:

What a good question! I can't just say one with this one, there are a few. The one that sticks in mind the most is the Fantasmic! theme, music from the beginning and end of the show..saw it 3 times this last trip recently and got a lump in my throat three times - its just, the BEST in my mind!

Also, I keep singing "Time be movin' along" from Splash a LOT, and the Spectromagic theme is great too..there's also POTC, and even Grim Grimming Ghosts is in my head once and a while still.

Uh-oh, here I go..."When the crypt doors creek and the tombstones quake....." :hmghost:

The worst for me was Boo to you from MNSSHP. We were trying to leave and kept getting stuck by the 2nd parade. I woke up the next morning singing it . I voted for IASW because everytime I go this one is stuck in my head.

I can't believe I didn't put "A Pirates Life For Me!" in the list. That one drives me crazy too.

"It's a Small World After All" has to be the number one song to stick in your head. Even the mention of it can do it.

"COP", "Zippededooda" would come in second.

(even thought the song gets stuck in my head, I am not sure how to spell "Zippededooda")

Definitely COP but I have the 2 disk theme park music set so a lot of things hang around for me like the Epcot Entrance Medley, Soarin and the Tree of Life theme.:cloud9:

I don't know that it's one song over another. The music of WDW is all so "catchie" and they're all songs that get stuck in your head.

This poll is absolutly impossible and by far the most difficult one ive done on here!

I voted for CoP because, it does get stuck in my head a ton.

BUT, i think i know every word to Splash Mountain [yes the entire ride], i know everyword to Yo Ho [ and the new pirates song for that matter. see my sig.],:pirate: i know everyword to Figment:figment: ...

Let's just say ive memorized MOST disney soundtracks.

It is impossible for IASW to be stuck in my head because ive boycotted it and refused to ride it !

OH NO, now i have like 20 songs running through my head. This is an incredibly cruel thread...

I like the song they play during the Boo to You parade during MNSSHP, especially the "Happy Halloween" part.
It stayed in my head even after I got home from the trip.

I had to go with IASW. I love that ride and that song! Its always our first and last ride and to really get in the mood we all start singing it months in advance of our trip!:piano: :cloud9: Of course, after each ride that song sticks for awhile, but we always go back to IASW!! :mickey:

That's hard -- because it is very close between IASW and COP. But my sons like to sing IASW and have only recently started picking up on the Great Big Beutiful Tomorrow lyrics so I picked IASW :mickey:

Unless I am mistaken, didn't COP have two songs:
1.) Great big beautiful tomorrow
2.) Now is the best time (of your life)
Anyone else remember this?

Thanks!

You can purchase the CD's with all these songs in the parks. I have the Epcot one with Figment and Soarin' on it, and the MK one with the Pirates song.

Yes, COP opened at the 1964-65 New York World's Fair with the song Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow. It moved to Disneyland and opened there in 1967. It had the same song until closing in 1973. It then moved to WDW and opened there in 1975. The theme song was changed to Now is the Time and remained so until sometime in 1994. It was then changed back to GBBT and remains so to this time.:mickey: I love Carousel of Progress!

I still have If you had wings... stuck in my head. That's going on 19 years!!! :D

Same here. I still remember that song and most of the attraction. That song sticks with me the most just because of my first trip, the quirky ride, and the whole 1970s feel to it. Do you sing it every time you get on Buzz?

I didn't even realize Soarin' had a song!

The music to Soarin' is beautiful. It's on the "Official Album of the Walt Disney World Resort". (One reason I bought the CDs) When you listen to it, you can still remember the ride vividly.
