We're going to WDW from 12/29/06-1/8/07. Since we'll be there for the end of the holiday season, with most of the events wrapping up - -- Would it be better to get to the Magic Kingdom before Epcot? It seems like all the holiday events will be over at the MK by the time we get there?
- I know Epcot will still have some festivities, but we're going to have preschoolers, would it be worth it go?

MK is very pretty at the holidays, but other than seeing the decorations, the only holiday celebration is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. It's a separately ticketed event that's held certain evenings and is very nice - it snows on Main St and there's special shows and a holiday parade - however, I think the last party is before you arrive....

EPCOT on the other hand does quite a few things for the holidays that are included in the park admission - there's a tree lighting ceremony, holidays around the world with story-tellers, the Candlelight Processional (a narration of the Christmas Story with a choir). If you decide to do the Processional (the last day is the 30th) it's worth the extra money to do a dinner package to get the seating, otherwise people start lining up a couple of hours in advance.

If you head over to MGM you can see the Osborne lights - it's an amazing light display and it's usually up until the first week in Jan.

Have fun planning! :santa3:
