Well, to pick up where I left off a few weeks ago......Sorry, I've been sick and had some things happen in the last two weeks that has prevented me from finishing up our trip report.....like a computer crash among other things!!!

Well, when last I reported we were in Daytona with the family and a miscommunication had taken place and we were to go back to the parks Saturday night, but WE had no hotel room!!!

Called SOG as they instructed "after 11" to see if they could fit us in that night. At 11:30 they said they still could not tell me if they had rooms for the night!! I pressed the woman on the phone and finally she gave in and added one night for us. I just really did not want to move our stuff the next day so I hoped we could stay at SOG the entire final leg of the trip -- they came through!!

We went to the beach until about 3 pm then ran back to the house grabbed our stuff and took off to Orlando. We drove up to SOG and I went in to check us in and the relatives called......they too were on their way and would meet us at DTD to go to DisneyQuest in an hour! We all got freshened up and off we went. It was my first time at DQ and I don't think I'd spend the $$ to go back, it was OK, but the snack bar closes too early!!! I went at 10 pm to get a sandwich and they were closed!!

Sunday the guys were signed up to go on the mini Segway tour (they booked Saturday on the fly). Us girls, and DS were ready to go on the Behind the Seeds tour for the same time period as the guys, so we got the FP's for Soarin for everyone when we went to check in. The BtS tour was great again. It was our second time, the other family members first. Everyone enjoyed it and once again, our kids were the only ones on the tour, so they got to release the ladybugs. After the tour was over, it was nearly noon when we all met up so we didn't have much time with the family -- we all rode Soarin, then grabbed some lunch then the kids did the Cookie thing at Sunshine Seasons, which was a first for DS. Next we did Figment and that was all the fam had time for -- they had to get moving home as the kids had some activity that night at church. We proceeded to the Living Seas and spent an hour in there. We got to see a turtle being fed, which was cool. We rode the new Nemo ride before going into the aquarium and once again it made me feel :ack:, so I closed my eyes for half of it -- oh well!! After the Seas we did of course -- the Robot Race!!! Anyone who has read my reports knows that Jacob HAS got to do the Robot Race a zillion times each trip!! This trip was no exception.....so we did one for Euan and Harry as promised!!

I'll continue more later.....the battery is dying on the laptop, so I have to finish up for now!!! I said we had computer issues......and they continue!!
