Verizon Service in the Parks

How is Verizon's cellular phone service in the parks?

We're thinking of trying Southwest’s on-line check-in using our cell phone for the return flight. I'm not sure what park we will be in on our last day, so I'm curious about service in all the parks.

We had no problem at all. We used it a lot to meet up after splitting up in the parks.

DS had a firefly phone and it was no problem, either.

I do believe that all of the major carriers keep the resort very well covered with high capacity service.

We use Verizon and had no problems whatsoever! It worked great to keep track of one another.:thumbsup:

We were there a few weeks ago and had zero problems. We use our cell phones often in the parks to get back together after our family separates (for planned and unplanned reasons). I am sure cell phones have made vacations much better without needing to have the "I was waiting here for you for (insert your long time here). Where the heck were you"?

Verizon is great in the parks. Service is not so great at some of the hotels, notably Port Orleans (although it is better than it used to be).

We were there in May and had no probs whatsoever. My DD and I would call each other when she wanted to stay at the hotel. We never had a problem calling. I love Verizon!!

But also one of the most expensive, lol. Verizon is great in the parks. Half of my group had Verizon two years ago and we were all able to communicate with no problems.

The trouble I've ever had out of a cell at Disney was on our last trip - I had a pre-paid Tracfone and for some reason, every time I went to France at WS, my phone would cut off.

But everywhere else it was great!

Verizon has perfect service in all the parks. You should have no problem.

We have Verizon and it works most of the time, b/c the kids do not answer the phone. :confused: Otherwise I think it is very good.

We just got back. No problems with verizon service whatsoever.

I've always found Verizon to have reliable service in the parks.

If airline check-in is your primary concern and you are staying on-site, the concierge at the front desk will check you in and print boarding passes for you.
