Crowd levels the week after Labor Day

Has anyone visited the parks the week after Labor Day? We are arriving Sept 4 and staying through the 11th. Last year we went Sept 29-Oct 3 and had very low crowds. Im hoping we will have the same good luck and everyone clears out. If you have experienced this week travelling to WDW, let me know how it was. Thanks!

We were there that week 2 years ago and the crowds were light. I am also hoping for the same this year. We will be there Sept 8 through 14.

Thanks luvwinnie, I was hoping all families with older kids would be heading back to school. Can't wait!

We were there that week for the past two years and the crowds were mild. I hope this year's the same because the DDP seemed to book fast because more people knew about it.

We were there in 2005. The weekend and Labor Day were pretty crowded, but Tuesday and on it was wonderful!!!! Even with the free dining I don't think it will be bad. They only had a limited number of rooms for this deal. And, most won't take kids out of school.:mickey:

This actually one of the best times to go. I have been there at least three times during this time period and have enjoyed myself the most. Most of the rides I could just walk up to and get on with no wait. It's great.
