Magic Kingdom

We are planning a visit to the Magic Kingdom in July and I understand that the hours of operation are from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm.

I am hoping to get everyone to the park a 1/2 hour before it opens. My question is do they hold you at the ticket gate or do they allow you to wander around Main Street?

Everyone is held at the gate and at the posted opening time for the park Mickey and friends have a big opening celebration. Then everyone is let into the park. It's a lot of fun to get there early to open the park. Have a great trip!:mickey:

Exactly what I was going to say! Stand in front of the Train Station and Mickey and pals will ride up on the train. Confetti in the air ect.. MAGIC AT ITS BEST!!

I believe only DISNEYLAND lets you onto Main street appox1/2 prior to opening. The M.K. on the otherhand opens the whole park at a certain time.....Not sure though..Any info on my reply.:confused:
