It is wonderful. We went last year. There is "snow" on main street, a Christmas parade, shows, Christmas Wishes, and cookies and hot chocolate. I loved it. The parade was awesome. The Christmas wishes show is great too. The only thing I didnt like was the fact that the cookies were snickerdoodles. Its a personal thing...I ate too many when I was a kid and now...yuck! You should definately go to the party. We already have our tickets for this year.:thumbsup:

We went for the first time last year. It was terrible. I hate waiting 5 minutes to ride ANY ride in the park. DD3 hated riding Dumbo 4 time within 20 minutes. It was so bad that we already have tickets for this year, and plans to go every year from now on. Oh yea, having access to ALL of the characters, with very short lines, was pretty bad too!

If you can take advantage of the full time, you pretty much have the park to yourself the last couple of hours. We rode it's a smallworld over and over wthout getting out of the boats at 1130pm. I planned it for the last day of our vacation, figuring we wont' get back to the hotel till after 1am... then mid afternoon flight out..... kinda the last horray! Cool to see the different christmas stage show in front of the castle, the parades, the characters.... A bit pricey, so we did it in 2005, skipped last year and doing it again this year.... excited about going!

We’ve done several Thanksgiving week trips and we always catch one of the first parties of the year. We LOVE it!!! It snows on Main Street! One year, when my son was considerably younger he and I rode the Barnstormer about 10 times without getting off. Several of those trip we were the only ones on the ride. We sat in one of the middle cars so new riders could have access to the front or the back cars if they preferred, and the CMs just let us ride. Toward the end of the night you were able to walk on just about any ride without waiting. .

The parade was great! They had free hot coco and cookies.

We just went Dec 2006:snowman: My 4 children loved it! The twins were only 3 at the time & their favorite part was the Dance Party w/ the characters near Dumbo:santa3: It was the best night of our vacation:santa: :sleigh:

I have been looking for a thread on MVMCP! I am so glad to find this! We got totally hooked on visiting at Christmas time by looking at pics on the web of the beautiful decoration! We are going Nov 16 and going to MVMCP that night. Its the first night of our week long trip! We are so hyped!!:cloud9: We cannot wait! Soooo... does anyone have a full proof plan for doing it all ??????????? :confused: Spill your schedules and secrets so we can have the most fun. We have 3 kids, boys ages 9 and 4 and girl, 6. Any help is appreciated! TIA!
