As long as everbody is "lazy" it is ok. It is not enjoyable when some people get a little wild.

I agree. On a hot summer day, the lazy river is very relaxing. However, sometimes you get those teen-agers using it as a big game of tag - that's not as much fun!

Ooooo, I love me a trip down the lazy river!!!

I guess I've been lucky...I have never been on it with any rowdy folks!

It's...well...Lazy! :funny: Slow, laid-back, and there are numerous "stops" around the perimeter where you can hit land and hookup w/a slide, or ride, or wave pool, or grab a snack!

me being a teenager myself will say that the lazy river is ok if you don't mind taking a little nap down it and personally, i don't even use the little tubes and i just swim around my parents and do whatever they tell me, of course, i may just be one of the good kids. :mickey:

WE love the lazy river {even my 4yr DD} especially on a hot day-- just floating around, being lazy:funny:

Some advice: if you are going down the river with your kid in a different tube (especially with rowdy groups in the water), hang on to your kid's tube and don't get separated too far or you will have trouble meeting up again, cause no-one knows if the other people got out at one of the exits or is still floating around.... yes I speak from experience. My DD7 had a bit of a scare. Next time we go, we decided to make a plan in case we got split up. Choose an exit to meet at.

It's nice and relaxing with some surprises along the way.

It's a fun way to unwind, but it can get boring if you like the more adventurous things at a water park

We absolutely LOVE the lazy river! I was 5 months pregnant on our last trip and so it was a wonderful "lazy" treat. It's nice to just sit back and float. We also had a few rowdy teenagers around us for a bit, but they headed off on their way after awhile and it was back to being peaceful! It's one of my highlights at TL, and I wish I was there now:mickey:

We love the lazy river. It's great!! I could stay there all day and not do the rest of the park.

the lazy river is a must do when you first enter the park, and also on your way out. its a great way to relax and take a tour of the park or just catch some sun. theres no rough current... its extremelly slow and relaxing. its a favorite of the adults in our group.

My opinion - bleah. The only reason it's any good is if you're waaay too tired to walk. It's boring. I'd rather spend the time walking to a slide.

I guess it all depends on your ability to relax, and enjoy a slower pace for a while.

Personally, I love it.

But not everyone enjoys kicking back and soaking in the atmosphere while taking a breather from the hurry and hustle.

I only wish that those who don't enjoy the slower pace and relaxation would choose to not ride it. They tend to get bored and become the rowdy ones previously mentioned.

Its great for relaxing but also for getting to different attractions around the park. You can ask the lifeguards where to get out.

My neice doesn't like slides so all she wanted to do was float in the river.
