Day 14 Thursday May 3
Today we went to Epcot for one last visit. We spent time in Innoventions first and tried out the Segway (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2135681770056953537vwNSRR?vhost=family). What fun it is! Now I want one of my own! We had lunch in Mexico (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2855155820056953537ZdgDkA?vhost=family) at San Angel Inn (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2948510850056953537jjNBjA?vhost=family) and we got a table right by the water to the delight of my boys who had great fun watching the boats go by. My father managed to find some fun (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2252822170056953537SBUiAz?vhost=family) of his own! We spent time doing what we hadn't done yet and doing over those things that we really enjoyed. We love exploring the various countries (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2568785000056953537UkHDex?vhost=family) and seeing what new things we can find! We saw the Chinese Acrobats (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2983394980056953537sDqUpP?vhost=family), spent some time in Agrobah (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2805978160056953537hxxufu?vhost=family), treated ourselves to pastries in France (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2726607920056953537kscRxh?vhost=family) and had a wonderful last day at Epcot. I could spend a week here...love it! Took one last night time photo of the Pirate ship (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2072969980056953537YXvQZO?vhost=family) in front of spaceship earth and thus ended our final day at Epcot.
Day 15 Friday May 4
Our last day in WDW today. We are sad and yet excited as the boys are about to go on an adventure that they have been wanting to do for a long time. We head out to Contemporary and down to dock to go parasailing! (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2163715040056953537nudrFC?vhost=family) They get all strapped in and then up they go!! (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2976764960056953537HCpXeF?vhost=family) Up further they go. Are those my babies (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2437392170056953537XSYSZn?vhost=family) way up there. They get up to 450 feet and while they are dangling way overhead my father and I enjoy a lovely cruise around Bay Lake (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2575967520056953537PgMnau?vhost=family). After a 10 minute ride they are reeled in. You can tell by their faces (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2994769510056953537QdEFRO?vhost=family) that they had a great time! My brave boys (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2704982750056953537vCyHgL?vhost=family) An awesome adventure and great way to end the trip! Happy Family! (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2428532410056953537obNEqG?vhost=family)
After parasailing we took one last trip to DTD for last minute shopping. I said goodbye to Capt Jack who said he would just die without me (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2931405150056953537IKdzEI?vhost=family) After shopping done we went to resort to pack up so we wouldn't have to do it in morning. Then we went to MK for the evening. Rode Splash Mountain (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2703189710056953537jfmTNk?vhost=family) and then had dinner at Pinocchio looking over IASW. The boys had fun waving at the boats. Seems it doesn't take much to keep them entertained. We spent time riding rides in Fantasyland (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2071846210056953537dwckXW?vhost=family) before heading to Tomorrowland to finish up our night with repeated turns on Buzz and Speedway! Wishes rounded of the night and then it was time to say goodbye to the magic Kingdom. We were all sad as we left and one of my boys was in tears. It is so hard to leave, but as I told him...if we don't leave, we can't come back!
At the resort we went to the arcade (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2741122900056953537GAZjtP?vhost=family) to spend their hard earned tickets. They had tons so we were able to get lots of junk like disco balls, basket balls, etc...and then we had to try to fit it into our already packed bags. Somehow we managed and after a swim, some food and a wander around resort, it was time for bed.
Day 16 Saturday May 5...time to leave.
:( It was with sadness that we got up and went for breakfast this morning. We had such a magnificent time. Just the best. I had so much stress before this trip so it was just so magical to even have been able to go. Combine that with all the magic surrounding my parent's 50th, and all the great people I met....this was our best trip ever!
The only shining light in this day was the fact that Jeanne (Piglet822) had arranged to be our DME Driver (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2963941890056953537hkdUeO?vhost=family) Once we were all on board our very competent driver (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2120519160056953537uFWJfA?vhost=family) had us say goodbye to All Star Movies (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2959122710056953537CByVFd?vhost=family) and we were off to MCO. We sat in front of bus so we could visit with Jeanne on the way. I miss you Jeanne! The boys enjoyed the farewell to WDW video that they had on the bus trip to MCO. All too soon it was time to go. After lots of HUGS (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2129556650056953537VZqpOX?vhost=family) and a few teary eyes, we headed into Airport to begin our journey home. The journey home was far less eventful than our journey to WDW was. Nothing went wrong. Isn't that the way...when you really want to go somewhere everything goes wrong, but when you aren't in any hurry to get to where you are headed it is smooth sailing!! We all had a good flight. Even Cutie Mickey (http://family.webshots.com/photo/2612075640056953537HjlDlR?vhost=family) enjoyed his flight (or as Jeanne calls him...Mickey on steroids!
So until next time...Intercot will be here to help my withdrawal. Thank goodness for all of you!
