I noticed on another thread about height requirements that now cast members are stamping a child's hand that meets the height requirement for a ride. Does this mean that once a child has met the height requirement for one ride (say 40") and gets his hand stamped, that the child will not have to be measured again for a different ride which has the same height requirement of 40", and instead he can just show his stamped hand?

i am pretty sure that is just so the CMs inside the rides know that the tyke passed the height measurement outside at the rides entrance. I would think that WDW would remeasure each child at each ride just to protect themselves from potential suits in case of injury. Even if the child does have the stamp I would think they may double check if they are doubtful but most likely would restamp at the same ride.
