I officially get to plan my Fairytale Wedding!

I just wanted to announce that my dear boyfriend, Brett, proposed this weekend (and I said yes). So, we can now officially start planning our Fairytale Wedding.

And it works out perfectly because my parents-in-law to be gave us a park hopper pass for my graduation and his birthday (also this weekend).

So, now we get to plan a trip, a wedding, and more!

Well, we're doing our fairytale wedding a little bit different. We're going to actually have a small ceremony with just our family in Milwaukee by the end of the year or early next year.

Then, on August 21, 2010, we're planning on having a vow renewal ceremony with ALL of our friends and family. Since my family is from Wisconsin and his is from Vermont; plus we met at school in Boston, and we have family and friends all over the country, we decided to have a destination wedding since everyone would be flying anyways. So, why not Disney?

His parents gave us park hopper passes for my graduation and his birthday, so we're probably going to head down around Thanksgiving or X-Mas this year to start planning.

We've been throwing around the idea of something at MGM or Epcot. The one thing I definitely want is a mariachi band that can play the Chicken Dance (I'm from Milwaukee, what can I say?).

As for hotel choices for our guests, we're thinking AKL, BC, POR, and PC. We really want to stay at AKL.
