hey guys, i need some adivice. I really want to go out to disneyland this summer, and can afford to do so with my part time summer job. However, i won't have the money needed to go until about two or so weeks before i would be leaving in August. My question is how late i can safely book my trip and still keep it at a decent cost. Thanks for your help guys!

Typically to get decent airfare you will want at least 14 days in advance. Many good deals only allow for Tues-Thursday travel, but that always changes depending on the market, airlines, seats etc. My best advice would be to figure out a time frame when you would most like to visit, take into consideration that Tuesday and Wednesday are the slowest at the DLR, and start lookng for deals. When you find something you think is reasonable, go for it.

The hotels of the DLR are rarely less that $179 a night in the summertime (Paradise Pier (http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland/en_US/hotels/landing?name=ParadisePierHotelLandingPage)) but you can find Good Neighbor Hotels (http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland/en_US/hotels/gnh/landing?name=GoodNeighborHotelsLandingPage) for less than $100 a night all summer, just do your research. The Fairfield Inn, Best Western Park Place Inn, Ramada Inn and Park Vue are all right across from the main entrance and they have good rates Sunday-Thursday but are all getting close to capacity on the weekends already.

If you have 2 people going you can sometimes find good package deals with the Vacations departments of the major airlines, or of course the best and easiest way is to visit our favorite INTERCOT Sponsor Magical Journeys Travel Agency (http://www.yourmagicaljourneys.com/) for some expert help in planning your vacation. :mickey:
