Prayers and Pixie Dust for Tinkerbellybutton *UPDATE 5/18*

One of my dear Intercot friends Traci (Tinkerbellybutton) could really use all of the prayers and pixie dust you can spare right now. She recently learned that she has a tumor in her abdomen and is going in for surgery this Tuesday. At this time a biopsy will also be done. Would you guys please keep her and her family in your prayers for everything to be Ok as well as for a speedy recovery? Traci is one of the nicest, most caring people I am proud to call a friend. She has gone through some rough times but is very strong! Traci will update us as soon as she is able. Thanks guys!

Hey guys, I'm only on for a minute because I'm still pretty sore. Hailey has been at a a friends house so she hasn't been able to update you. I was allowed to come home last night but will have to go back in for more IV antibiotics. The pixie dust did the trick. All of the biopsies (they ended up doing several) came back negative:thumbsup: !!!!! I can't thank you all enough. What was supposed to be a quick removal turned into a long clean up. They found that my uterus was adhered to my intestines, etc. due to endometriosis and the infection in my abdomen and ovary was so bad that they ended up having to surgically seperate my organs and do a complete hysterectomy :( I'm ok with it since now I'm already feeling much better. I'm malnourished from not being able to eat for 3 weeks due to all of the problems but they've got me back on the road to good health! I really mean it when I say I can't thank you all enough, I know that all of you had something to do with the positive outcome, you all gave me the confidence and strength I needed to stay positive. To those of you who sent email THANKS!!!! I got a few of them just minutes before surgery, one with the picture of the castle (Cinderelly;) ) I really needed that! :) You all are the best! I also want to send out a special thanks to DVC2004, without her a lot of the things I have faced in the last year would have seemed too much. Having friends like you and Stephanie (Mrs. Garibaldi) have made me a better person. I'm going to be home for a while (besides daily trips in for my antibiotics) so I will be on more, hopefully, and catch up with everyone. I know while I've been gone I've missed a lot of requests for pixie dust so I want to send truckloads out to those who need it!! Thanks again! You all are great.

P.S. Thanks for making Hailey welcome, she needed a little pick me up and she definately found the right place to get it!

:angel: Looks like somebody was watchin' out for ya'! That is such great news. Like everyone said, don't be in any kind of hurry to get back to normal...enjoy the rest. My mom's favorite piece of advice has always been to use the phrase "I'm under doctor's orders to avoid stress" as often as possible...for as long as possible.
