Going to WDW in November with wife, 15mo son, sister and parents. Which of these two restaurants do you think would be better for a lunch ADR at MGM? Thanks.

We haven't eaten at Sci Fi (but it's on our list for this year), we love 50's Prime Time. It does take a long time to eat there (up to 2 hours the 1st time). I'm not sure how much time the Sci Fi takes.

If time is not an issue, then Prime Time is a lot of fun and the food is good too. Be sure to bring your sense of humor. Your "Aunt", "Uncle", "Cousin", or some other "relative" will wait on you and tell you to keep elbows off the table, fuss if you wear a hat to the table and and generally have a ball at your expense. It is a lot of fun if you play along!

Good luck with your decision!! Have a great time!!

The food is probably better at the 50s but the sci fi has a better atmosphere that is totally unique

I never ate at 50's Prime Time but my kids, DS7 & DS3 loved Sci Fi, they already said they want to go there again the next time we go. I thought the food was good and the milkshakes even better

We have ate at both several times...the food and interaction is better at Prime Time and the atmosphere is better at Sci-Fi. If you go to Prime Time make sure that you tell the hostess that you wany a server that will "Play Along". With a party of six, either restaurant will take from 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

Not a fan of 50's Prime Time - but we never miss Sci-Fi. Atmosphere is like nothing you'll find anywhere.

With a 15-month old son, I think I would opt for 50's Prime Time.

We've done both, and LOVE Sci-Fi. Every time we go, we say "let's try something different", but can't skip Sci Fi. The atmosphere is AWESOME and it's such a great break from the hot Florida sun. And the sci fi movie clips are hysterical. We've always had good food and service...it's a "must do" on every Disney trip for us.

Having eaten at both, my vote is for Prime Time.
